Our Quickscreen Light Horizontal Gate Kit is a lightweight, durable aluminium gate system, supplied cut to size and ready for DIY assembly. Featuring pre-cut Quickscreen side frames and aluminium slats, it provides a clean, slimline finish without the need for welding.

Slatwerx also uses this gate system throughout our custom equipment enclosure range, where its combination of strength, low weight and modern appearance makes it an ideal choice.

🎨 Customisable Options

• Slat Size: 65mm aluminium slats. Looking for 90mm slats? Contact us for options.
• Slat Gap: Choose from 0mm, 5mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm or 30mm spacing.
• Height: Customisable up to a maximum height of 2200mm, depending on the slat gap selected. Available heights are calculated to maintain consistent spacing between each slat and include the top and bottom frame caps. We recommend allowing at least 25mm clearance beneath the gate.
• Width: Customisable from 400mm to 1200mm. When entering your gate width, be sure to allow sufficient clearance for your hinges and latch. As a general guide, allow approximately 20mm for hinges and 20–30mm for the latch, depending on the hardware selected.
• Colour Options: Select from our range of powder-coated colours or Mill Finish.
• Latch: Compatible latch options can be added to your order.
• Hinges: Compatible gate hinges can also be added to your order.

🛠 DIY Assembly Made Easy

The Quickscreen Light Horizontal Gate Kit is supplied as a flat-pack, cut-to-size gate ready for assembly.

Simply slot the pre-cut slats into the side frames, set the gaps using the supplied spacer blocks and screw the slats into position. Once assembled, snap the screw covers and frame caps into place for a clean finished appearance.

No welding is required and the gate can be assembled using basic tools by following the supplied assembly instructions.

At Slatwerx, we provide a range of delivery options designed to suit your needs. All products are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely, and we take pride in our efficient turnaround times.

Turnaround Times

For stock items, orders typically ship within 2-3 business days from the date of order, depending on stock availability and order complexity.

For larger orders and cut-to-size orders, such as enclosures or cut-to-size gates and screens, typical lead time is 2-3 weeks from the date of order unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Depot Collection

Most orders can be collected free of charge, directly from one of our 8 nationwide depots. Depot opening hours will be listed at checkout and on your order page. These are located in:

For your safety and in accordance with WHS regulations, please note the following: Orders can only be loaded onto suitable transport. If your vehicle is deemed unsuitable, we can either arrange delivery (if within our local zones), offer a refund, or you can return with suitable transport. Please use your collection reference at the office upon arrival. Due to depot activity, there may be a wait as orders are picked when you arrive. Please note, orders cannot be purchased directly at the depot.

Local Delivery

We offer Local Delivery at a flat rate for metro areas around each depot. To check if you are located in the Local Delivery area, enter your postcode at checkout. The following limits and pricing applies to Local Delivery orders:

Order Value: $3801 - $7500, Delivery price - $299

Order Value: Over $7500, Delivery price - $445

Nationwide Delivery

Small items can be posted to most regions across the country, via Auspost or Aramex.

For larger orders, we have access to over 180 transport depots across Australia. Where you don't qualify for Local Delivery, a courier will be arranged. Enter your address at checkout to see your nationwide delivery options. For orders over 50kg, a forklift may be required at the delivery location. SLATWERX TRANSPORT DEPOT LOCATIONS

All orders are shipped with Authority to Leave at the nominated delivery address. If you prefer to be present at the time of delivery, or do not wish to authorise Authority to Leave in your absence, please notify us directly after placing your order so alternative arrangements can be made.

Once an order has been delivered in accordance with the carrier’s delivery confirmation, Slatwerx cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery. We recommend ensuring the delivery location is safe, secure, and accessible at the time of delivery.

Packaging and Care

All Slatwerx products are carefully packaged to protect them during transport and reduce the risk of damage in transit. Our packaging methods are designed to suit the size, weight, and nature of each product.

While every effort is made to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, damage may occasionally occur during transit. Customers are required to inspect their order upon delivery and notify Slatwerx of any damage within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.

If transit damage is identified, please contact us within 5 business days with clear photographs of the damage, the packaging, and the delivered items, so we can assess the issue and assist with a suitable resolution in line with our obligations under Australian Consumer Law.
