Shipping and Delivery
At Slatwerx, we provide a range of delivery options designed to suit your needs. All products are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely, and we take pride in our efficient turnaround times.
Turnaround Times
For stock items, orders typically ship within 2-3 business days from the date of order, depending on stock availability and order complexity.
For larger orders and cut-to-size orders, such as enclosures or cut-to-size gates and screens, typical lead time is 2-3 weeks from the date of order unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Slatwerx offers 3 delivery options:
- Depot Collection
- Local Delivery
- Nationwide Delivery
Depot Collection
Most orders can be collected free of charge, directly from one of our 8 nationwide depots. Depot opening hours will be listed at checkout and on your order page. These are located in:
- Brisbane, QLD: 153 St Vincents Rd, Virginia
- Gold Coast/Yatala, QLD: 4 Binary St, Yatala
- North Melbourne, VIC: 139 Studley Court, Derrimut
- South East Melbourne, VIC: 15 Stephen Road, Dandenong
- Adelaide, SA: 490 Churchill Rd, Kilburn
- Newcastle, NSW: 9B Pennant Street, Cardiff
- Perth, WA: 10A Marriott Rd, Jandakot
For your safety and in accordance with WHS regulations, please note the following: Orders can only be loaded onto suitable transport. If your vehicle is deemed unsuitable, we can either arrange delivery (if within our local zones), offer a refund, or you can return with suitable transport. Please use your collection reference at the office upon arrival. Due to depot activity, there may be a wait as orders are picked when you arrive. Please note, orders cannot be purchased directly at the depot.
Local Delivery
We offer Local Delivery at a flat rate of $100 for metro areas around each depot, regardless of your order size. To check if you are located in the Local Delivery area, enter your postcode at checkout. For orders over 50kg, a forklift may be required at the delivery location. If no forklift is available, we will deliver to the nearest transport depot.
Nationwide Delivery
Small items can be posted to most regions across the country, via Auspost or Aramex.
For larger orders, we have access to over 180 transport depots across Australia. Where you don't qualify for Local Delivery, a courier will be arranged. Enter your address at checkout to see your nationwide delivery options. For orders over 50kg, a forklift may be required at the delivery location. If no forklift is available, we will deliver to the nearest transport depot.
All orders are shipped with Authority to Leave at the nominated delivery address. If you prefer to be present at the time of delivery, or do not wish to authorise Authority to Leave in your absence, please notify us directly after placing your order so alternative arrangements can be made.
Once an order has been delivered in accordance with the carrier’s delivery confirmation, Slatwerx cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery. We recommend ensuring the delivery location is safe, secure, and accessible at the time of delivery.
Packaging and Care
All Slatwerx products are carefully packaged to protect them during transport and reduce the risk of damage in transit. Our packaging methods are designed to suit the size, weight, and nature of each product.
While every effort is made to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, damage may occasionally occur during transit. Customers are required to inspect their order upon delivery and notify Slatwerx of any damage within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.
If transit damage is identified, please contact us promptly with clear photographs of the damage, the packaging, and the delivered items, so we can assess the issue and assist with a suitable resolution in line with our obligations under Australian Consumer Law.
